The newly opened Castellon airport is less than 15 miles from the festival site and Ryanair has started flights to and from London Stn on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from Bristol on Wednesday and Sundays.

Other operators fly to the above airports and shuttle buses run direct to the festival site from all major airports.

CAR

Our philosophy is to reduce our carbon footprint besides which there is very limited parking availability so we recommend that:

  • You come with as many friends as possible in the same car.

WRISTBAND

WHERE DO I CHANGE MY TICKET FOR A WRISTBAND?

According to the type of ticket you have bought you’ll be able to do it at:

  • Wristband Exchange: weekend and day tickets, Villacamp and Caravans.
  • Accreditation Desk: Press passes , VIP passes and Guests.

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • Printed ticket.
  • ID Card or Passport.

THE WRISTBAND

The wristband is the key to access FIB and the badge of the Fiber. It is the only thing that will let you enter the arena or the campsites. Therefore you should take care of it during your stay at FIB.

When they’re putting on your wristband make sure that it fits well. It mustn’t be loose but you should be comfortable with it on.

In no way break, deform, customise, weaken or take off the wristband. At each security point they’ll require you to show it , and so you can enter, it’ll have to be in perfect condition. Any wristbands that aren’t in good condition will be removed and may lead to expulsion from the arena and/or the campsite. Don’t take any chances.

TIPS

WHAT SHOULDN’T YOU FORGET?

  • Suncream.
  • Sunglass and/or sun hat.
  • Earplugs - to sleep in the campsite and for the concerts.
  • A photocopy of your ID card or passport (look after it during the Festival and keep separate from the original).
  • A torch for the campsite.
  • A small first aid kit (plasters, paracetamol, ibuprofen….).
  • A beach towel.
  • A light coat or jacket for the nights.
  • Your Visa Contactless to pay at the Festival in a single gesture. More info.

TAKE INTO ACCOUNT:

  • Drinks lots of water.
  • Practice safe sex.
  • Don’t bring vaulables.
  • Take out travel insurance if you’re coming from abroad.
  • Sale of alcohol to under 18s is illegal.
  • The sale and consumption of illegal drugs is penalised by law.
  • If, for whatever reason, you don’t feel comfortable look for FIB staff and we’ll see how we can help you.

ENJOY FIB. SAFELY

FIB takes place in a safe venue and has emergency and evacuation plans and trained staff that will help you.

SAFETY TIPS:

In the concert arena

  • Before entering a densely occupied area, identify ways out, so that you know where to go in case you don’t feel comfortable.
  • The first few rows at a concert can be overwhelming. Respect your own limits.
  • Please do not crowd surf, mosh, slam dance or do anything that may endanger you or those around you.
  • Do not block the pathways in the arena
  • Do not climb trees or structures.
  • Do not run or push.

In the camping area

  • Do not place your tent or belongings in a way that block the normal flow of people or vehicles.
  • DO NOT light any fire. DO NOT LIGHT CANDLES. They are extremely dangerous. If you see someone doing it, please tell the organization.

If, for any reason, you feel unwell, do not hesitate to seek assistance at one of the sanitary posts.

IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY:

  • Stay calm. DO NOT RUN. Do not attempt to leave the venue unless indicated. Walk towards one of the safe meeting points:
    • Arena of the Main Stage (Las Palmas, the one closer to Benicàssim town)
    • Hall, North entrance, where you enter the festival
  • Don’t worry if you temporarily lose sight of your friends, you will reunite with them later. The most important thing is to take care of your own safety and of those around you.
  • Pay attention to the PA systems for updates on the situation. Follow FIB staff’s instructions (easily identifiable by the yellow or orange jackets they wear).

PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY:

What to do in case of emergency/evacuation

  • Remain Calm. Stay with your companion.
  • Pay attention to the PA system for updates. Follow the directions of the Safety Staff.
  • Do not attempt to abandon the venue by your own means, even if you are accompanied.
  • If you are in one of the dedicated stands for people with reduced mobility, stay there and we will be there to help you. There are four designated areas you should go to in case of an emergency:
    • Medical post (Red Cross) on the right of the main stage (Las Palmas, the one closest to the main road, seaward).
    • Rest area next to and south of the Radio 3 FIB Club Stage (this stage is the only tented one).
    • Backstage access on the right of J&B South Beach Dance Stage (the one closest to Campfest and the mountains, further from sea).
    • Police station on Hall (North Entrance, in front of Wristband Exchange and Accreditation Office).

ACCESSIBILITY

FIB takes place in an arena without architectural barriers and has a dedicated access especially for disabled people. We have reserved parking next to the entrance, reserved zones in the campsite, adapted toilets and seating for disabled Fibers.

Some of these facilities have a limited amount of space and will only be available to those who have completed the process before July, 8th.

To be able to access and use these facilities, it’s necessary to get in touch with the organisers from May onwards.

SERVICES

  • Parking: places are only guaranteed to those persons who have reserved this service via the previous process and until they are full there are three available disabled parking zones : Arena, Campfest and Villacamp. The parking place will ONLY be guaranteed once the organisers have communicated and confirmed with each request.
  • Viewing Platform: There are designated spaces for disabled people in the viewing platform for the main stage and in the stand at the Fiberfib.com stage.
    You can make use of the space here subject to availability at any given time, however, the organisers can’t reserve or guarantee space in these areas. There is seating available to all those who do not use wheelchairs but there is no seating for carers or people accompanying. Those who need this service should mention it when they ask for their place.
  • DISABLED WCs: The arena has several adapated WCs, some of which are next to the two dedicated viewing platforms and are for exclusive use. At a date closer to the Festival an accessibility map will be published that show the locations of these and other services.
  • Public Buses: Many of our official buses have ramps and areas for disabled seating.

PMR ACCESS

The Organization guarantees special access and parking for disabled Festival-goers until it has reached capacity.

ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS

FIB allows access to the arena for guide dogs for visually impaired people, providing that there is official documentation for the dog and it doesn’t present a risk to other people. Please bear in mind that a music festival isn’t the best site for a dog though so it will always be preferable that anyone visually impaired is accompanied by someone that can help them.

ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

FIB permits people with medical dietary requirements to bring food into the arena with them provided they have medical certificates with them. Please remember that glass containers are not permitted in the arena so any food will need to be contained in other receptacles.

ACCESS WITH CRUTCHES

The Organization will facilitate access for people on crutches that present a medical certificate that states they must use them to move around. In the event that this can’t be provided the organisers will take each case on merit and will decide appropriately. The crutches will be checked for security purposes and the user must promise not to let them out of their sight at any point.

For all these cases we’ll deal with requests during the Festival, as long as we have availability. For that, please go to the Accreditations tent. The documentation that you’ll have to present will be the same that we ask for in advance .

  • Necessary certification:
    • - Medical certificate.
    • - Medical certificate of your dietary requirements.
    • - Medical documentation for any medicines requiring storage.
  • Photocopy of the Festival ticket of person making request and accompanying person/carer.
  • Photocopy of ID card or passport for person making request and accompanying person/carer.
  • Email address of person & and accompanying person/carer.
  • If requesting a disabled parking space, don’t forget we’ll need a copy of your blue badge.
  • In the event that you’re bringing a guide dog, we’ll need the documentation for the dog.

UNDER 18'S

16-17 YEARS OLD

They'll be given a special wristband to wear that will prohibit them buying or consuming alcohol and tobacco. They'll need to present ID or passport and a signed copy of the responsibility form at the Accreditations Office or the Wristband Exchange by the arena entrance.

13-15 YEARS OLD

They must always be accompanied by an adult (over 18) - if they are accompanied by a parent or teacher they'll need to present ID or passports and a signed copy of the responsibility form. at the Accreditations Office or at the Wristband Exchange by the arena entrance. In the event, if they are accompanied by someone other than the above, they will need to bring a letter from a parent granting permission to attend, including contact and passport details of the parent and a signed copy of the responsibility form.

0-12 YEARS OLD

They must be accompanied by a parent who will have to fill in a document at the Accreditations Office or the Wristband Exchange, taking full responsibility for the child. They will also have to present their ID card or passport and that of the child.
The child will carry accreditation with their name, that of the parent and mobile contact details.
